Job Title: Showroom Cashier
Reports to: Showroom Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Showroom Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact for customers, you will provide exceptional customer service, process transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Transactions: Accurately process customer transactions, including sales, refunds, and exchanges, using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
2. Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and provide product information and recommendations to meet their needs.
3. Maintain Showroom Appearance: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing, including maintaining product displays and merchandising.
4. Handle Cash and Credit Transactions: Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
5. Manage Cash Drawer: Maintain a balanced cash drawer, including counting and reconciling cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
6. Process Returns and Exchanges: Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
7. Answer Phone Calls: Respond to phone calls, take messages, and provide product information to customers.
8. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other showroom staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
9. Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, including features, benefits, and pricing.
10. Adhere to Company Policies: Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, sales, and cash handling.
Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
2. Previous Cash Handling Experience: Preferred.
3. Excellent Customer Service Skills: Required.
4. Basic Math Skills: Required.
5. Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required.
6. Availability to Work Flexible Hours: Required, including weekends and holidays.
